About BoatLaunchMap

Connecting boaters with water access across America

Our Mission

To make every waterway accessible by providing the most comprehensive, accurate, and user-friendly boat ramp directory in the United States. We believe that finding a place to launch your boat should be easy, reliable, and stress-free.

The Story Behind BoatLaunchMap

BoatLaunchMap was born from a simple frustration: finding a reliable boat ramp shouldn't be this hard.

We've all been there. You plan the perfect day on the water—gear loaded, weather checked, friends excited. Then you arrive at the ramp only to find it's closed for repairs, too shallow at low tide, or packed with a two-hour wait. Or worse, you spend hours scrolling through outdated websites and conflicting information trying to find a launch site near your destination.

That's why we built BoatLaunchMap. We combined data from federal, state, and local sources with real-world information from boaters like you to create the most complete boat ramp database in America.

"More time on the water, less time searching for a ramp."
