When I pulled up the US Coast Guard was there and asked if I wanted a free safety inspection of my boat and I said yes please! After you pass all the checks, you get a sticker to put on your windshield. Now when they see the sticker, they can’t pull you over for a random check because they see you’ve already passed. If you scan the QR code on the sticker, it will take you to a US Coast Guard vessel safety check website Randy was the gentleman’s name who was doing the inspections and he is a very professional knowledgeable and cool guy. Thanks again Randy.

Good boat launch. Two docks on each side and room for someone to launch in the middle. Good amount of parking but fills fast. Down side is people parking just cars in the trailer parking spots. A little patience and we parked our truck and trailer no problem on a Sunday.

Seemed like a good spot to launch a boat. Needs a restroom to make it complete.

This one is great! Lots if parking. The ramp is very wide. We were there at high tide so it wasn't too steep. There is a covered picnic area. It has bathroom 🚻. The view of the Ashley River is nice too. It's right beside the 526 Bridge to West Ashley. Duncan Boats i right beside the boat ramp.

Beautiful location and we'll kept.. I've been coming here since the 80s to get out of the house for a little peace and quiet. I come here to practice my trumpet but with a quiet mute so I'm not loud and disturbing anyone. I do that while sitting in my car, but in my normal routine as I've been doing over 3 decades. Now all of a sudden a cop comes in and says that noone can be at the landing after dark dark when information CLEARLY SAYS OPEN 24 HOURS. Not really sure of why they came with a cowboy attitude and ran the very few people off unless they had something corrupted planned themselves. Other than that W.O. Thomas is still rated a 10 star in my book. And after I finish my own little boat build project I'll be finally using it to the fullest. 👍🏽
