Boater Reviews
Very nice and well kept boat ramp. Been coming here since I was a little boy.
Ramp is not bad, but people fish right beside it leaving nowhere to actually beach the boat. Theres no dock and the other side of the ramp is rocks. I actually bottomed my motor out trying to avoid all the fishing lines last week. I just expect more when I'm paying to use a ramp. Right before it gets dark people are literally running lights with generators beside the ramp and the loading zone fills up with people and vehicles. Someone made the people leave that were fishing there when I put in, but when I got back to load the boat back up there were even more people there fishing.
Great spot to drop the boat into Greenwood Lake, right in the middle of the lake, cheap ramp fee but missing a dock to be able to get the vehicle driver on and off the boat to be able to unload the boat and back the truck back down. Just have to get close, jump and hope for the best.
Been there plenty of times but I’ve never seen the shrine club actually open. It has a boat ramp for people with boats and visiting. 5.00 to dock your boat
Plenty of parking. Fish from shire. Swim....launch your boat! Ramp isn't steep like others. One of the most popular landings on the lake due to its unique location beside the trestle.
