Lake Glenville is such a beautiful Lake...the Powerhouse Boat Launch was a great place to launch our kayak!
One of two public boat launch areas on Glenville Lake. This one is before the dam and beach area and has one boat ramp & a really nice fishing pier. Plenty of free parking for your boat trailer. Pit toilets.
Great place to launch a boat to go out on the water. We have a canoe and a kayak and it has a boat launch. There is a public island not too far way. Great for picnicking and there were people swimming there also. (I don't know if you are allowed to swim there.) The boat launch in also not far from one of the waterfalls. They have pit bathroom facilities, but since Covid, they have been locked so it is important to make a last stop at a bathroom before you get there.
Nice and clean bathrooms. Good boat ramp and nice docks.
Road is little rough goin down to the boat ramp but the ramp is a little deeper for easier launching, has some restrooms but they are just permanent porta John style with no lights, nice pier tho.
