Boater Reviews
I was driving near Hartsville SC and saw this pubic launch at Lake Robinson. The lake is man-made, part of Duke Power service for a nuclear power station. Beautiful area. I have an inflatable kayak allowing me to “jump” at such opportunities. Easy access. No services at this location. No fee.
Fished for 5 hours didn't see a fish, saw no bait, nothing busting the water. In an average depth of 3 ft
Had a great time watching fireworks here. Awesome spot to relax in the warm water from the power plant. The water comes out cleaner than it go's in, in case you were wondering.
Utilitarian. A work horse of a ramp. Nice Atlantic white cedar on the lake. Worth the wait even on the rare occasion someone else is launching
Wish the launch area was a bit more wider cuz it gets crowded and compact quickly when it's 3 or more boaters there trying to load or unload their boats
