Boater Reviews
I love to put my motorized feel free kayak in at Central State boatramp and fish my way up to Greenway Park boatramp and back down... plenty of bass... largemouth, spotted bass, althama bass, even saw a 6', over 100lb Atlantic STURGEON about ½ way up the river.. a rare and awesome sight..! And don't be scared if you see a gator, they're more scared of you than you are of them..
The boat ramp was nice... But there were entirely too many boats and trucks there... Me and my twin went there to do some canoeing and fishing.... The river was overrun with boats... Which pretty much made fishing impossible.... At least 15 trucks and boat trailers were there.. not to mention the ones that had already left.... can't say I will go there again
It's a good fishing spot. Water ranges from 6 inches to about 8 feet. Have a decent truck to get back to it because the road is dirt.
Safe, clean but if you go night fishing, hang a glow sticks bc you can't see the reflecters painted on the trees. I was lost out here for hours one night.
Clean place. Good ramp. Use it often to take out on kayak trips
