Great ramp, nice dock, needs cleats, how do you break those big cleats guys?? The only reason I didn't rate a 5 was parking and the broken cleats on the dock. Parking can't be changed. I'm sure the other vehicles are the fishermen with guides.

Nice ramp. busy but it was memorial day weekend. the lake is great. very big but very very busy but again it was a Saturday. the lake is pretty shallow for most of it. i saw mainly between 10 and 20 feet except down near the dam where it went over 150 feet. be warned most of the bridges are very low so boats with arches or canopies will have to collapse them. there is a bathroom, but the mens has one toilet and a urinal but no sink or lotion dispenser. this is a free ramp.

A nice little spot to launch a boat onto the lake on the Lexington/Saluda side. You're not far from Dreher Island from here. Near to some good little fishing spots. The parking lot isn't huge so get there early if you want a spot. Or, wait until the early morning folks get back and start leaving. Two ramps. Not much light out there before daybreak to see the ramps. There's some restrooms here to use too.

Sunday September 8, 2024. Parking lot was 50% empty at noon and 70% empty at 6pm, so no problem finding a spot. Trailers over 24' will have to try to get one of the few center spots, because the trailer spots around the perimeter are not super long, any trailer over approximately 20' will stick out past the painted lines. 2 ramps but only one has the dock next to it (port side of the boat). Ramp is a very shallow angle- I had to back in more than any other ramp I have ever visited. Unfortunately the dock is just wood siding and does not have the rubber rub rail, which is a relatively inexpensive but super-useful feature and I never understood why they would spend so much to build the parking lot and dock but cheap out on a little rubber strip to protect people's watercraft. There is a bathroom but no running water or hand sanitizer of any kind. There was also a lot of broken glass around the bathroom and no walking path, it's just a little yellow building in the woods opposite side of the road. There are trash cans.

There is no light for backing down in the early mornings and late nights. The parking can get very tight when busy. Bathrooms seam like they are never open. The dock is long enough for multiple boats on both sides. Ramp has a good slope and long enough for boats even when water is down.
