Boater Reviews
Boat Ramp in Pelzer, SC to Saluda River. There is a boat ramp where you're able to put a boat in but, there is no lighting at all. It is very dark and has absolutely no lighting around it which makes it very hard to see the ramp at night making it extremely difficult to back up your trailer. Its also very hard to locate at night from the water. If this place would get some lights around it, it would be a great place to put your boat in the water because its very convenient. But with not lighting, it just makes it very difficult at night to load and unload your boat.
Quiet and shaded. Took wife and older son for an afternoon fish 'n rest. Just what the doctor ordered. Very few people, not hot because of the many trees. Lazy river. Just like Huck Finn. Don't expect anything fancy… just peace and quiet.
Beautiful place. River access between the Hwy8 dam and the lower hydro.
I've caught fish everytime I've been there some good size catfish, shellcracķer,bass and crappie
Nice ramp. Plenty of parking.
