The boat ramp is great for fishermen and recreational access But the WMA that allowed gun hunting from Ridge Church to the Boat Ramp which is sad because from the Pendleton are that was the closest place but now I would hope that the 100 yrd hunt around Lake Russell is still available ; but the for older Veterans that's a challenge as is Game zone 1 in the Mountainous area of the state . We use to have gun hunting all around Hartwell Dam, a 30 minute drive and easier Terran to hunt . It's all Fants Grove which is all bow hunting , Wow food is much harder to hunt with a rifle or shotgun 🤔

Good place to launch. There has been times of break-ins to automobile s. It's off to itself.
