Boater Reviews
Have been coming here with our waverunner (and occasionally kayak) for years now. It's a great ramp that doesn't usually get too busy and makes for stress-free launches. It's also next to a lesser traveled part of Falls Lake that I personally really like. It's a bit further drive than some of the other ramps, but a drive I'm often willing to make, especially on busy days.
Boat ramp and large parking area. No privy! You can park here to access the MST on the far end of the parking lot. Heading west on the MST it’s about 3.5 miles to Red Mill Rd. Nice section of trail that runs along a little airport, under I-85 (tunnel), short piece on Redwood Rd (more parking), crossing railroad tracks and then around a little pond. Somewhat muddy when wet.
It has an easy place to launch and lots of parking. My one concern is that there's no bathrooms or electricity
Seems like nice boat launch. I was kayaking, however lots of parking, nice ramps x3. Great access point to Falls Lake. A bathroom access would help.
Great access. Plenty of parking. Room for swimming and hammock relaxing.
