The residents make this a wonderful place to live. The developer, KHovnanians, is a nightmare. They are very secretive and difficult to work with but they will be leaving once they complete the last home which may take place in late 2026 or early 2027. Then the owner’s HOA will operate with transparency and integrity keeping the community informed and seeking their participation when needed. If the developer was more cooperative, I’d give the community six stars! My wife and I live in the older section at lakeside. We have a lovely view of the lake through the statuesque loblolly pines which line the shore. We share our cul-du-sac with wonderful neighbors and a plethora of wild birds and occasional visits from various wildlife from the area. The amenities are great and there are so many opportunities to join a wide selection of clubs and events.

I live here, and we LOVE it! Beautiful amenities, fun activities like a Luau, Fiesta, New Year's Party, Golf Cart parades, Summer Concert series, Lip Sync shows, Musical shows and dancing. Also, Pickleball, Indoor and outdoor pools, Dog park, well- equipped gym, Craft room, Pool tables, Dance studio, large ballroom with a large kitchen, Kayak/ canoe launch, pool pavillion with grill, and many more. Best of all are the Four Seasons residents! Everyone is happy, and it's truly a family of friends. Highly recommend!!!

Just moved here 2 months ago. While we love the community and the people, if you like pickleball and are looking for a good community for that, stay away. We have over 300 pickleballers here but only 4 courts. KHOV has added houses to this community without adding pickelball court capacity. Weekends are a mad house for pickleball with 20+ people just waiting to play a game. Not what I had envisioned.

If you are looking for a 55+ community in the Lakes of Cane Bay area THIS IS THE ONE. The floor plans and finishes are gorgeous and lakes and preserve views are breathtaking. They just opened a multi million dollar club house that boasts two pools- one just for the grandkids so they can swim anytime while visiting - not like other communities who only allow certain hours for the children to swim. Ask for Rick. He really knows his community and the whole area and will give you the white glove service all throughout the process

This is a great community without question. K Hovanian, the builder, is horrible. I have had problems with drywall finishes, painting, electrical, plumbing and countertops. there is absolutely no supervision over what the contractors do in the homes. They leave completed homes open at night with all of the lights on, front doors open, and the place fills up with bugs. I even saw a large pregnant cat walk in to the house across the street for me because they keep the doors wide open 24 hours a day. I will give credit where credit is due, and their service department is very diligent. The problem is is that they have to deal with subpar contractors and getting them to come back out and repair their mess. It’s very apparent that each of the subcontractors has a crew of skilled people to come back and fix, everything that the non-experienced installers put in. I would never recommend K Hovanian Homes as a builder to anyone.
